Holiday Closures
On Wednesday, December 31, all libraries will close early — at 4 pm — except the Gerlach Community Library, the Verdi Community Library and Nature Center, and the Duncan/Traner Community Library, which will be closed all day, and the Senior Center library which will close at its usual time of 1 pm. All Washoe County Library locations will be closed Thursday, January 1, for the New Year's Day holiday.

Shivery: Chilling Tales of Horror

Nowhere to trick-or-treat? No problem. Pull up a seat and listen to some creepy stories submitted by library patrons across the county and narrated by a local author and library employee.

Season 3: October 28-31, 2024
