Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Washoe County Regional Animal Services offers free microchipping.

Reno, Nevada. March 18, 2015. Free microchipping is available to all Washoe County pet owners. In an effort to make sure owners have a chance to get their pets microchipped, Washoe County Regional Animal Services is offering free microchipping Saturday, March 21, 2015, at Petco on 2970 Northtowne Lane from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

WHAT: Free Microchipping Clinic hosted by Washoe County Regional Animal Services

WHEN: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2015

Animal Services has seen its return to owner rate in Washoe County increase 30 percent the past two years due to microchips. A grant provided by Maddie's Fund has covered the costs of the microchips.
