Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Spring into the Library this April.

April Library Newsletter Highlights:

  • Celebrate National Library Week April 12-18
    Washoe County Library System joins libraries across the country in a celebration of National Library Week.  Our library develops its programs and services to meet the diverse needs of our community.  Ebooks, job-seeking resources, innovative programming, workforce development, computer classes, homework help and more.  Check out the “Unlimited Possibilities @ your library!”
    Some events include the following:
    • Sunday, April 12 – Downtown Reno Movie Matinee at 2 p.m.
    • Monday, April 13 – Spanish Springs Brain Awareness Program at 5 p.m.
    • Tuesday, April 14—Nevada Libraries Snapshot Day celebration all day
    • Wednesday, April 15 –  Sierra View hosts Family Estate Planning Workshop Series at 11 a.m.
    • Thursday, April 16 – Sparks Basic Computer Classes at 11 a.m.; Incline Village Jelly! Co-Working event at 4 p.m.
    • Friday, April 17 – South Valleys Tech Café at 3 p.m.
    • Saturday, April 18 – Northwest Reno Knitting and Crochet Club at 1 p.m.
