Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Help children at Kids Kottage with May 14 fundraiser

Eat, drink and be generous with event at Reno Provisions.

Reno, Nevada. May 4, 2015. The Chamber Reno Sparks Leadership Class of 2015 is helping raise money for the Kids Kottage with a fundraiser Thursday, May 14, 2015, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Reno Provisions.

The class has focused on a number of upgrades to the playground, housing and common areas for the children at Kids Kottage. So far they have painted 13 of the 22 bedrooms and one outside wall. They will start landscaping upgrades in the next couple of weeks and hope that the May 14 fundraising event will bring in enough money to purchase the play structure.

What: Caring for Kids Kottage fundraiser

When: Thursday, May 14, 2015, 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Where: Reno Provisions, 100 N. Sierra Street, Reno

Cost: $60 in advance; $75 at the door

Details: Ticket includes appetizers, drinks and validated parking. A silent auction will also be held. All proceeds go towards $50,000 worth of upgrades to Kids Kottage.
