Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Members of Washoe County District Attorney’s Office attending Sparks Farmers Market as part of DA Hicks’ outreach efforts.

Reno, Nevada. June 11, 2015. The Washoe County District Attorney’s Office will be attending tonight’s Downtown Farmer’s Market as part of District Attorney Chris Hicks’ ongoing community outreach efforts. The event is set to take place at the Sands Casino’s south parking lot parking lot between 4-9 p.m.

Representatives from the District Attorney’s Office will be on hand to answer questions from the public about the work done by prosecutors and the public safety role of the DA’s Office. The booth provided by the organizers of the event will have handouts on safety and information on assistance for victims of crime, family support and the fraud check program. Funding for material comes from grants and forfeiture funds.
