Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Bowers Pool is now open and US Air Force Jazz Band plays music made from legends at Bartley Ranch.

Reno, Nevada. June 24, 2015. The Robert Z. Hawkins Foundation is proud to present the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West: The Commanders Jazz Ensemble will play at Washoe County’s Robert Z. Hawkins Amphitheater Saturday, June 27.

Under the direction of Master Sergeant Jeremiah True, The Commanders carry on the American musical tradition of the great traveling big bands, yet offers a lot more than the big band sounds. This energetic group of highly-trained professional airmen-musicians offers an entertaining show you won't soon forget!

What: Concert with The Commanders Jazz Ensemble

When: Saturday, June 27. Gates open at 5:45 p.m. and the performance will begin at 7 p.m.

Where: The performance will take place at the Robert Z. Hawkins Amphitheater located at Bartley Ranch Regional Park. The address is 6000 Bartley Ranch Road. Reno, NV 89511.  There are 400 seats and 600 grass seats.  Please bring blankets or low back lawn chairs for grass seats. Glass containers or pets are not permitted.

Cost: This is a FREE event.

What: Bowers Mansion Pool is open for the 2015 season

When: NEW HOURS: Now open noon until 7 p.m.  every day and opening at 10 a.m. on weekends

Pool Hours Mondays-Fridays, 12 p.m.-7 p.m.

Saturdays and Sundays, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.

Daily Admission Fees:
Infants (2 & under) - Free
Youth (ages 3-17) - $4, '10 Punch Pass' available for $30
Adults (ages 18+) - $5, '10 Punch Pass' available for $40
Seniors (ages 62+) - $4, '10 Punch Pass' available for $30
