Donate to the Children’s Cabinet and help residents in Lemmon Valley.

Reno, Nevada. Aug. 7, 2015. In an effort to help those impacted by flash floods last month in Lemmon Valley, the Department of Social Services is providing outreach to residents in need of assistance. In partnership with Social Services, the Children’s Cabinet has set up a donation account to support victims.

“We want the residents of Lemmon Valley to know Washoe County and the Children’s Cabinet are here to help,” said Washoe County Commissioner Jeanne Herman, District 5. “We live in a great area with folks who have always been so very caring and generous. I have no doubt Northern Nevada will pitch in to help our neighbors.”

Cash donations can be directed to the Executive Assistant at the Children’s Cabinet Jessica Stack at jstack@childrencabinet.org.

Residents may contact the Department of Social Services at 775-785-4006.
