The Great May Center Pumpkin Walk is Coming!

Great May Center Pumpkin Walk features more than 500 hand-carved pumpkins.

Reno, Nevada. Sept. 15, 2015. Kick off the fall season with one of Reno’s fastest growing Halloween traditions for families! Now in its fourth year, the Great May Center Pumpkin Walk features more than 500 hand-carved pumpkins illuminated along a path through the May Museum and Arboretum.  The event draws thousands of visitors each year to see the amazing display of pumpkin art. Kids are invited to wear costumes and trick-or-treat during the walk. Costumed characters along the path will hand out treats and candy. Hot chocolate, cider, and other refreshments will be available for purchase at the end of the route.

This event is stroller friendly and not-too-spooky. Sunset will be at 6:30 pm so families with young children, who may be scared of the dark, will want to come earlier in the evening. This event is mostly outdoors so please dress for the weather.
