Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Supporting those who made the ultimate sacrifice

Washoe County is inviting you to the nationally touring arts and humanities exhibition, "Always Lost: A Meditation on War". We are inviting citizens to attend and support those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

What: Always Lost: A Meditation on War exhibit

Where: Washoe County Administration Complex, Building B.

Regular viewing hours: Weekdays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Jan. 15, 2016. Closed Christmas and New Years.

More Info: At the heart of this unique war memorial is the Wall of the Dead, featuring faces and names of U.S. military service members who perished in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars since Sept. 11, 2001. Along with the exhibition’s poignant memorial wall, “Always Lost,” brings home the individual and collective costs of war through original poetry by Nevada writers.
