Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Second Judicial District Court teams up with Food Bank of Northern Nevada

Residents can drop off food donations at two locations.

Reno, Nevada. Dec. 4, 2015. The Second Judicial District Court is hosting an annual food drive in partnership with the Food Bank of Northern Nevada. Donations are being collected on the first floor of the Law Library or the Self Help Center. The public can drop off non-perishable food weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., from now through Jan. 8, 2016.

In addition, the Self Help Center and the Law Library will further close the book on hunger by accepting food donations in place of book fines.
