Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Washoe County Registrar’s Office reports 12,218 people have early voted to date.

Reno, Nevada. June 6, 2016. The last day to early vote is rapidly approaching. What’s your excuse not to vote? The Washoe County Registrar’s Office encourages everyone to get out and vote. The last day to early vote is Friday, June 10, 2016. To date, the Washoe County Registrar’s Office reports 12,218 people have early voted for the Primary Election.

Washoe County has 21 early voting locations this year. Polling locations are open seven days a week. The exact hours and locations of the early voting sites are available at the Registrar’s website.

 “Voting has been slow and steady but always picks up during the final days of the early voting period. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to cast your vote at a time and place that’s most convenient for you,” said Washoe County Registrar Luanne Cutler.

Important dates to know

  • June 7 Last day to request an absentee ballot
  • June 10 Last day to early vote
  • June 14 Primary Election Day

Washoe County is collaborating with community partners to promote Big Vote Little Excuse in an effort to encourage all citizens to use their voice and vote in the 2016 Primary and General Elections.
