Washoe County Social Services is looking for strong, loving foster parents.

Reno, Nevada. June 17, 2016. Washoe County Social Services reports 930 children in Washoe County need a place to call home and a family of their own. Washoe County is in need of strong, loving foster parents who can care for children anywhere from birth to 18-years-old and provide them with stability and nurturing.

“We are so happy to see an increase in number of families stepping up to adopt through foster care, but what we really need right now is strong, loving foster parents who can care for these children when they need it most,” said Washoe County Foster Care Placement, Recruitment and Training Supervisor Mikie Franklin.
