Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Summer fun in Sun Valley

Free Swim Day and Movie in the Park.

Sun Valley, Nevada. June 30, 2016. The Sun Valley General Improvement District (SVGID) invites everyone throughout the Truckee Meadows to recreate in Sun Valley this summer. The public is welcome to celebrate the 4th of July in the water at the Robert and Norma Fink Sun Valley Pool Complex Monday, July 4, 2016. The pool is open for the holiday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free to the public. For more information call (775) 673-0754.

What: Free Swim Day

Where: Sun Valley Community Park at 115 W. 6th Ave., Sun Valley, NV 89433.

When: Monday, July 4, 2016 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

SVGID is also hosting a Movie in the Park event Friday, July 15, 2016 at the Sun Valley Community Park in Sun Valley. Festivities will begin at 6 p.m. and include a BBQ, raffle prizes, concessions. The free feature film, “Goosebumps”, starts at dark. The event is open to the general public.

What: Movie in the Park featuring “Goosebumps.”

Where: Sun Valley Community Park at 115 W. 6th Avenue in Sun Valley.

When: Friday, July 15, 2016, at 6 p.m.

Note: No alcoholic beverages are allowed. Please bring your picnic blankets and lawn chairs.
