Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Information on Lands Bill being proposed for Washoe County

Aug. 23, 2016. County Commissioners accepted the presentation and update regarding the Washoe County Economic Development and Conservation Act (Washoe County Federal Lands Bill). Commissioners approved the draft mapping of the areas that may be impacted by the transfer of land.

Open House

Washoe County held two open houses for the public to learn more about the Public Lands Bill in the atrium of the Washoe County Administration Complex (1001 E. 9th St., Reno) on Friday, Sept. 16 and Monday, Sept. 19. Staff is now planning for the next public meeting opportunity.

Washoe County has created an informational webpage with proposed maps regarding the comprehensive federal lands bill being proposed.
