Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Reno, Nevada. Sept. 2, 2016. The 2016 State of the County Address has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2016, at 9 a.m., at the Washoe County Commission Chambers.

County Manager John Slaughter and Commission Chair Kitty Jung will highlight, along with other topics, how Washoe County has a positive impact on economic development for local businesses, the County’s investment in parks, and the County’s role in maintaining a safe, secure and healthy community.

What: 2016 State of the County Address

Where: Washoe County Commission Chambers at the Washoe County Administration Complex (Bldg. A, 1001 E. 9th St. Reno, Nevada).

When: 9 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2016

Media: County Manager John Slaughter and Commission Chair Kitty Jung will be available for interviews following the presentation.

The theme for 2016 is #WashoeImpacts.

Note: The Board of County Commissioners regularly scheduled meeting will begin shortly after the State of the County concludes.
