Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Medical Examiner performing autopsies on three decedents from Sunday’s plane crash.

Reno, Nevada. Sept. 12, 2016. The Washoe County Medical Examiner’s Office has taken custody of three decedents involved in a plane crash that occurred on the evening of Sunday, Sept. 11, 2016 at the Reno Tahoe International Airport. Autopsies will be performed on each of the crash victims.

The names of the decedents are currently being withheld pending positive identification and notification of next of kin.
