Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Christine Vuletich named Assistant County Manager of Administration and Finance for Washoe County

Vuletich brings extensive experience to Washoe County.

Christine VuletichReno, Nevada. Oct. 5, 2016. Washoe County Manager John Slaughter recently announced his appointment of Christine Vuletich to his executive team, as the new Assistant County Manager of Administration and Finance for Washoe County.

Among other duties, Vuletich will have oversight responsibilities for the Technology Services Department, the Human Resources Department, the Comptroller’s Office and the Registrar of Voters Office in Washoe County.  

“Christine brings extensive experience to Washoe County that will be very beneficial for our community,” John Slaughter said. “We are fortunate to have her and I am excited to welcome her to the Washoe County team.”

Vuletich said of her appointment, “I am really looking forward to becoming part of the Washoe County Team! This is an amazing opportunity to work together with everyone in the organization in serving our citizens during these exciting times for our community.”

 Vuletich brings vast experience to the Assistant County Manager position. She has served in public finance and management for more than 20 years, most recently as the Assistant County Manager and Chief Financial Officer for Douglas County, Nev., since 2012.

Vuletich also served as the Director of Finance for the City of South Lake Tahoe, Calif., for more than seven years, where she was responsible for the integrated management of the City’s financial resources, purchasing, technology services, airport and parking garage operations. Prior to that, Christine was the Assistant Finance Director for the City of Folsom, Calif. She also worked as a Finance Administrator for the Sacramento Regional Transit District, in Sacramento, Calif., and as the Deputy Treasurer for the El Dorado Irrigation District in Placerville, Calif.

Her education includes a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in General Management from Golden Gate University, and a Bachelor of Science, Cum Laude, with a concentration in Finance from California State University, Sacramento.

Christine has lived in Nevada with her husband and family since 2004.
