Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Community meeting to be held on Monday, Oct. 24, 2016, at 5:30 p.m.

Reno, Nevada. Oct. 24, 2016. Washoe County, the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office and Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District are hosting a community meeting for residents directly affected by the Little Valley Fire to discuss assistance with rebuilding and restoration efforts following the Little Valley Fire.

The meeting will be held at Pleasant Valley Elementary on Monday, Oct. 24, 2016, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The following will be covered during the meeting:

  • Resources for recovery   
  • Insurance resources
  • Rebuilding and permitting
  • Property assessment
  • Erosion control, soil stabilization and reseeding
  • Removal of debris and logging
  • Fraud awareness

Who: Washoe County, Washoe County Sheriff’s Office, and Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District

What: Little Valley Fire community meeting

Where: Pleasant Valley Elementary at 405 Surrey Dr. Reno.

When: Monday, Oct. 24, 2016, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
