Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Public’s input needed regarding cellular facilities in General Rural Agricultural regulatory zone

Public workshop set for Monday, Nov. 14

Reno, Nevada. November 7, 2016. The Washoe County Community Services Department’s Planning and Development Division is hosting a public workshop regarding proposed amendments to Washoe County Code Chapter 110 (Development Code) relating to location placement standards for cellular facilities. The workshop is Monday, Nov. 14, 2016, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Washoe County Administration Complex. Washoe County staff will be available to discuss the proposed amendments until 7 p.m.

Following public input, the amendments will be discussed by the Washoe County Planning Commission. The public hearing is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, December 6, 2016.
