Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Emergency Meeting set for 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6 at Commission Chambers

Reno, Nevada. Jan. 6, 2017. The Board of County Commissioners will hold an emergency meeting on Friday, Jan. 6, at 2 p.m. to discuss a possible declaration of state of emergency due to the anticipated storms.

The meeting will be broadcast live online on WCTV.

The meeting was called in accordance with NRS 241.020, which states emergency meetings can be called when unforeseen circumstances like flooding occur and where immediate action is required.
