Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Washoe County Treasurer’s Office warns of scam involving tax liens on property.

Reno, Nevada. Feb. 16, 2017. Washoe County is warning citizens about a scam involving an individual claiming they represent Washoe County. Citizens report that they are receiving messages via mail and phone claiming a lien has been placed on the citizen’s property and that a payment must be made to settle the debt.

The Treasurer’s Office accepts no payments over the phone.  Citizens can always check their property tax status online at www.washoecounty.us/treas or call the Treasurer’s Office at 775-328-2510.
