Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

All Washoe County Libraries Will Be Closed On October, 18, 2017.

Closed For Staff Professional Development Day.

To foster better communication within the Library System and to facilitate improved service to the community, all Washoe County Libraries will be closed on Wednesday, October 18, 2017, for a staff training day at the joint Nevada Library Association/Mountain Plains Library Association Conference.  By allowing all Washoe County Library System staff to take part in this unique professional development opportunity,

Washoe County Libraries ensures that their staff maintains and enhances the knowledge and skills they need to deliver quality professional service to our patrons and the community. Patrons are advised that book drops will be available as well as the library’s website.
