Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Washoe County Library System Hosts Adoption Programs: November 1 and 8, 2017

The Adoption Exchange Presents Two Adoption Training Classes.

The Washoe County Library System is pleased to host two adoption training programs offered by The Adoption Exchange.  Please join Jessica Hartwig, Family Support Services Coordinator from the Nevada Office of The Adoption Exchange, who will explain how the organization provides support, training and expertise before, during, and after the adoption process. These training programs will be held at the South Valleys Library located at 15650 Wedge Parkway in Reno, Nevada from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m.

Wednesday, November 1, 2017 - South Valleys Library
Foster Care Adoption Training:  This class is specifically designed for families interested in adopting children from foster care.

Wednesday, November 8, 2017 - South Valleys Library
Adoption Options Training:  This class is specifically designed for families interested in adoption or those in the beginning stages of adoption.
