Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Join us in December for several great holiday programs.

In-Tune Tales Presents: How the Grinch Stole Christmas

The Washoe County Library System is proud to host In-Tune Tales as they present How the Grinch Stole Christmas.  Bring the magic of the holiday season to life with spoken word storytelling, music, and song! In this special program, the In-Tune Tales trio performs classic holiday stories and songs in an acoustic setting with upright bass, violin, guitar, and vocals. The centerpiece of the holiday program is the beloved Dr. Seuss classic How the Grinch Stole Christmas

A musical dialogue of a modern storybook classic against a backdrop of characterizations, music, lyrics, and sound effects. Top it off with holiday songs and a sing-a-long!

Santa Claus is Coming to Washoe County Libraries! 

Bring your children to see Santa as he makes several stops around Washoe County Library System. Parents, be sure to bring a camera!

Northstar Chamber Players

This popular woodwind quintet will perform favorite holiday classics.  Enjoy selections from The Nutcracker, Christmas carols, and other seasonal music. Featuring Mary Ann Lazzari (flute), Kelsey Edmondson (oboe), Jennifer Day (clarinet), Ben Benson (bassoon), and Bruce Kanzelmeyer (horn).
