Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Washoe County & local students spread the sounds of cheer

Reno, Nev. Dec. 18, 2017. It’s no secret that ‘the best way to spread Christmas cheer is by singing loud for all to hear’, which is exactly why the elementary students of Glenn Duncan S.T.E.M. Academy will be conducting a holiday performance at the Washoe County Complex.

MEDIA AVAILABILITY – WCSD students sing to community & Commissioners:

When:  Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017 from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m.

9 a.m.: Washoe County Sherriff’s Office motorcycle escort from Glenn Duncan STEM Academy, 1200 Montello St, Reno, 89512, to Washoe County Complex, 1001 E, Ninth Street, Reno, 89512.

9:30 a.m.: Glenn Duncan elementary students begin caroling in the Washoe County Complex Atrium, Bldg. A.

10 a.m.: Glenn Duncan elementary students begin caroling to Washoe County Commissioners in the Chambers, shortly after Commission meeting begins.   

What:  Glenn Duncan S.T.E.M. Academy students’ live holiday performance.

Who:  Glenn Duncan S.T.E.M. Academy students and staff, Washoe County elected officials and staff, and WCSO staff for motorcycle escort.

Note to media: Don’t miss these elementary students spreading cheer as they sing to the public and for the Washoe County Commissioners.
