Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Washoe County Library invites you to help celebrate the season with us. We are hosting an array of programs and events for all ages this holiday season to help get you in the spirit. ‘Tis the season for long afternoons spent nestled in a cozy reading nook and immersed in a fantastic new book. Whether you’re traveling for Christmas or hunkering down at home, there will be plenty of time to start a new book (or two or three) over the holiday season. Check it out: Please go to www.washoecountylibrary.us to place a hold, renew a checkout, download eBooks, research databases and more.

All Washoe County libraries will be closed on Monday, December 25 in observance of the Christmas Day Holiday. The North Valleys Library will also be closed on Tuesday, December 26. In addition, libraries with Sunday evening hours will close at 5:00 p.m. on December 24.
