Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Public invited to help ‘forge new ground’ with proposed Lands Bill

Feedback needed on growth and conservation in Washoe County

Reno, Nev. April 12, 2018. A new federal lands bill is being proposed for Washoe County, the Washoe County Economic Development and Conservation Act, which seeks to enable smart growth and protect open space in Washoe County.

Washoe County officials are asking for public input on the updated Lands Bill proposal at the following meetings:

  • Tuesday, April 24, 2018 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center.

           The economic development portion of the bill will be discussed at this meeting

  • Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center.

            The conservation portion of the bill will be discussed at this meeting
