Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Publication joins 2017 Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) Annual Report as most recent local health reports

RENO, NEV, APRIL 18, 2018  – The Washoe County Health District 2017 Annual Report is now available online.  The report provides an overview of Health District activities and significant accomplishments during 2017. The report also contains messages from the District Health Officer Kevin Dick, and District Board of Health Chair and Washoe County Commissioner Kitty Jung. 

The Washoe County Health District has also released the 2017 Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) Annual Report which is also available on the Washoe County Health District website.  The CHIP Annual Report is a progress review of the plan activities completed in 2017 by collaborating community partners working to improve the health and well-being for residents in Washoe County by addressing topics such as Access to Health Care and Social Services, Education, Behavioral Health, and Food Security.
