Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Special event to provide free legal services

Reno, Nev. April 27, 2018. In partnership with the Northern Nevada Woman Lawyers Association, the Second Judicial District Court is hosting a "Lawyer In the Library" special event. Licensed Nevada attorneys specializing in Family Law, Civil/General Law, Bankruptcy, Sealing Criminal Records, Estates/Probate, Employment and Business Contracts will volunteer their time to assist the community with free legal guidance.

What:   Free legal guidance provided by licensed Nevada attorneys for Self-Represented Litigants

When:  Tuesday, May 1, 2018 from 5:30–7:00 p.m.

Where:  Washoe County Law Library, 75 Court Street, Reno, Nevada

Who:      Northern Nevada Woman Lawyers Association and the Washoe County Law Library

Why:      Provide free legal guidance to participants representing themselves in court or determining options available for pursuing possible legal action.  

The Third Annual "Lawyer in the Library" event is sponsored by Northern Nevada Woman Lawyers Association and the Washoe County Law Library. Each participant will receive up to 20 minutes of time with a licensed Nevada attorney.
