Expanded county campus serves more than 9,000 residents in Tahoe.

Reno, Nevada. May 18, 2018. Washoe County officially opened its doors Friday, May 18, 2018, to the new Incline Village Community Center.

From board meetings to board games and several fun-filled activities in-between, the new Washoe County Incline Village Community Center, located at 855 Alder Ave., will be a place for seniors to socialize, be productive and share ideas. Targeted to seniors in need, the social spaces in the center will host senior and community activities in Incline Village, removing isolation and service access barriers that directly affect quality of life for those populations.

The center provides an additional community resource next to the Incline Library for residents to access government services. Washoe County remodeled the old Incline Village Library the past several months, converting the building into a safe and accessible social gathering place for residents in north Tahoe. The open house is an opportunity for the Incline Village community to learn more about the new center and the various services Washoe County provides.

“Washoe County serves more than 9,000 Incline Village residents every year.  This new center will be a great hub of resources for them, showing our continued commitment to that community. Washoe County hopes Incline Village residents will enjoy the amazing opportunities this new center has to offer for many years to come,” said Washoe County Commission Chair Marsha Berkbigler (Dist. 1).
