Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Governor to keynote, community invited to celebrate Flag Day with fun-filled events

Reno, Nev. June 14, 2018. The Second Judicial District Court will celebrate Flag Day 2018 with an event that will make you salute. State and local officials will lead a traditional hometown celebration which will inspire community pride and patriotism.  

The Court is pleased to announce Governor Brian Sandoval as the Keynote Speaker. Other guest speakers include Justice Lidia S. Stiglich, Chief Judge Scott Freeman, Washoe County Chair Marsha Berkbigler and Councilwoman Naomi Duerr. 

Worn flags will be collected for retirement during the event. 

TONIGHT: Thursday, June 14, 2018 – Flag Day at the Courthouse

What: Celebrate the 241st birthday of the Unites States flag with a live band, national anthem, guest speakers and the winners of the District Court’s student poem contest. 

Where: 1 South Sierra Street, Reno, Nevada, Courthouse Patio

When: 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
