Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Callers asking public for donations to volunteer fire departments

Reno, Nev. June 11, 2018 - The Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District (TMFPD) has received some recent inquiries from concerned citizens wanting to confirm phone solicitors requesting donations for volunteer fire departments.

While the TMFPD manages and oversees volunteer fire stations, the District does not call the public asking for donations.
