Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Free Legal Assistance offered at the Second Judicial District Court

Reno, Nev. Oct. 22, 2018. The Washoe County Law Library, in partnership with Nevada Legal Services and Washoe Legal Services, is hosting a Law Fair on Wednesday, October 24, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., to help the community and celebrate Pro Bono Week.  

Pro Bono Week is celebrated throughout the United States and encourages a collaborative approach to expanding local efforts to provide resources and access to justice for all. 

Participants will have an opportunity to receive free legal assistance from a licensed Nevada attorney in several different areas of law including family law, wills and probate, bankruptcy, and consumer protection.

Law Fair – free and open to the community:

Who:  Washoe County Law Library in partnership with Nevada Legal Services and Washoe Legal Services.

What:  Law Fair

When:  Wednesday, October 24, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Law Library hours this week: Monday and Thursday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday, 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.

Where: Second Judicial District Court, 75 Court Street, Reno, NV, Room 116.
