With historic turnout during early voting, the Registrar’s Office has added new locations on General Election Day including:

  • Hungry Valley Community Center, 9075 Eagle Canyon Dr., Sparks, 89441 – *a historic first for the RSIC
  • Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe Admin. Building, 208 Capitol Hill, Nixon 89424
  • Sun Valley Neighborhood Center, 115 W6th Avenue, Sun Valley 89433

“We are so glad to now offer a location in Hungry Valley and Nixon to those on the Colony and reservation lands,” says Registrar of Voters, Deanna Spikula. “It is our mission to ensure that each citizen of Washoe County who is eligible to register and vote is able to do so. Offering new locations helps advance our mission and reach all of our residents.”

The 2018 General Election offers a total of 82 polling locations, and new for this election, voters can cast their ballot at any polling location. Thanks to new electronic poll books, voters can participate at the location most convenient for them, and no longer have to vote at their assigned polling place.
