Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

2019 Healthy Parks Healthy People 5k Fun Run/Walk

Reno, Nev. March 21, 2019— As part of its Healthy Parks, Healthy People: Truckee Meadows initiative, Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation, in partnership with Washoe County, is proud to present their third annual Healthy Parks Healthy People 5k Fun Run/Walk at Ranch San Rafael Regional Park. The event will take place on April 13th at 9:00am, followed by the free Kids’ Obstacle Course Fun Run at 10:00am.

Early bird registration is $25 per person, and can be completed online at RunSignUp through April 6th. The fee includes a “2019 Healthy Parks Healthy People 5k” t-shirt. After April 6th registration will be $30 per person. The Kids' Fun Run is free, but parents must register their children on the RunSignUp page as well.

The Healthy Parks Healthy People 5k was started as a part of the Parks Foundation’s initiative to enhance the quality of life for all citizens of the greater Reno-Sparks metropolitan area. This family-friendly event draws hundreds of community members each year for a morning of fun, healthy outdoor activity in one of Reno’s largest parks. Register soon!
