Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Washoe County Parks offers 15th annual concert series beginning June 12

Reno, Nev. June 6, 2019. Washoe County Parks & Regional Open Space is proud to summon the sweet sounds of music with the 15th annual 2019 Summer Music Series. The free concert series is open to the community and will be held at Lazy 5 Regional Park every Wednesday night beginning June 12 at 6:30 p.m., running through Aug. 14, 2019.

With amazing local performers from country and bluegrass to jazz and R&B, the whole family is invited to get their groove on:

2019 Summer Music Series full schedule:

June 12:   “New Wave Crave” (80’s Family Dance Party)

June 19:   “Decoy” (Classic & Modern Pop Rock Covers)

June 26:   “The Novelists” (Contemporary Folk & Lyrical Rock)

July 3: “The Let’s Dance Band” (Big Band Swing & Jazz)

July 10: “Dusty Miles & the Cryin’ Shame” (Rockabilly & Country)

July 17: “Nick Eng” (Britpop & Beatles-esque Indie Pop Rock)

July 24: “Nick Eng” (Britpop & Beatles-esque Indie Pop Rock)

July 31: “Jeff Jones Trio” (Acoustic Blues & Americana)

Aug 7: “Spur Crazy” (New Country Rock)

Aug 14: “Escalade” (Old School & R&B Dance Covers)

For the comfort and enjoyment of all guests, please bring blankets or low back chairs. Dinner or snacks in small coolers are welcome, plus local food trucks will be available offering food for purchase. Please no pets or glass containers.
