Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Adults 50+ invited to explore Wilbur D. May Arboretum & Botanical Garden

Reno, Nev. Aug. 8, 2019. Adults 50 and older are invited to participate in the upcoming walking series, “Good Nature! Walking Tours for Seniors” at the Wilbur D. May Arboretum and Botanical Garden. This series is designed for seniors in the community to get outdoors and enjoy conversation as they discover the benefits that plants bring to our everyday lives. 

“Good Nature! Walking Tours for Seniors” will take place on Wednesdays and Fridays throughout the month of August. Tours will be led by experienced volunteers of the May Arboretum who have a passion for gardening, plants, and storytelling.  Each series is limited to 15 seniors and registration is required.  

What: “Good Nature! Walking Tours for Seniors”

When: Wednesday Series: August 14, 21, 28 from 9-10:30 a.m.

Friday Series: August 16, 23, 30 from 9-10:30 a.m.

Where: Wilbur D. May Arboretum and Botanical Garden 1595 North Sierra St. Reno, Nevada 89503
