Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Washoe County is Seeking Public Input on Emergency Communication Facilities

Community Services Department hosting workshop Thursday, Oct. 10, 2019.

Reno, Nevada. October 10, 2019. The Washoe County Community Services Department’s Planning and Building Division is hosting a public workshop regarding proposed amendments to Washoe County Code Chapter 110 (Development Code), Article 324 (Communication Facilities). The proposed update focuses on establishing regulations for the placement of emergency communications uses for government owned and/or operated facilities.

Following public input, the amendments will be discussed by the Washoe County Planning Commission. The public hearing is scheduled to be heard at the November 5, 2019, meeting.
