Work to begin Wednesday, October 9

Reno, Nev. Oct. 8, 2019. Beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, October 9, Washoe County staff will be placing additional HESCO barriers in strategic locations around Swan Lake. This work is a part of the maintenance ahead of the winter season.

Additionally, Washoe County was made aware of an NV Energy project that included a final step of resurfacing county roadways, specifically Sitka Street and Oregon Blvd. Washoe County has confirmed this project meets county requirements for roadway surface applications and the contractor is complying with all requirements. This roadway work is anticipated to be completed this Friday, October 11.
