Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Historic Bowers Mansion hosts live Civil War Reenactment to end tour season

Washoe County Regional Parks and Open Space is proud to announce the Historic Bowers Mansion will wrap up the 2019 tour season with a bang, which includes a live Civil War Reenactment. Visitors will be transported to the days of Nevada’s statehood, enjoy the grounds and tours of the mansion.

WHAT: Civil War Reenactment at Bowers Mansion.

WHEN: Saturday, October 19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

WHERE: Bowers Mansion at 4005 US Highway 395 North, Carson City, NV (Washoe Valley).

DETAILS: The ongoing Civil War exhibits and demonstrations are free. Self-guided tours of the historic Bowers Mansion will be available for $7 Adults, $5 Children & Seniors.
