Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Washoe County is Seeking Public Input on Potential Development Code Amendment Relating to:

Section 110.408.05 Applicability, to add and allow industrial regulatory zone to common open space development

Who:             Community Services Department; Planning and Building Division

What:           Public Workshop about proposed amendments to Washoe County Code Chapter 110 (Development Code), Article 408 Common OpenSpace Development

When:          Wednesday, November 6, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Where:        Human Resources Conference Room (Room A210); Second Floor, at the top of the stairs in  Building A,         Washoe County Administration Complex, 1001 East Ninth Street, Reno

The Washoe County Community Services Department’s Planning and Building Division is hosting a public workshop regarding proposed amendments to Washoe County Code Chapter 110 (Development Code) relating to:

        Article 408.05 – Applicability, to add and allow industrial regulatory zone to common open space development.  Click HERE to access the Draft Ordinance 

Washoe County staff will be available to discuss the proposed amendments from 5:00 pm to 6:00 p.m. Following public input, the amendments will be discussed by the Washoe County Planning Commission. The public hearing is tentatively scheduled for the December 3, 2019, Planning Commission meeting starting at 6:30 p.m.
