UNR Performing Art Series Presents: Take 3 on November 6, 2019

Downtown Reno Library Hosts Free UNR Performing Arts Program.

The Downtown Reno Library, a branch of the Washoe County Library System, proudly hosts UNR Performing Art Series: Take 3.  This spectacular music event will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 from 6 - 7:00pm in the Downtown Reno Library auditorium.
With rock star charisma and masterful technique, this dynamic trio astonishes audiences by pairing classical and contemporary music, such as their electrifying rendition of “Natural” by Imagine Dragons merged with the “Habanera” aria from Bizet’s opera “Carmen.”
Violinist Lindsay Deutsch, cellist Lila Yang and pianist Irene Kim each received rigorous tutoring from world-renowned instructors. Deutsch is presently touring internationally with superstar Yanni and collectively the musicians have performed at Carnegie Hall, Walt Disney Concert Hall, and other prestigious venues in the US and abroad. Their diverse repertoire includes Astor Piazzolla’s “Oblivion Tango” and the Latin Grammy-winning hit “Despacito.”

With a flair for the wild and unexpected, this genre-bending trio brings the refinement of a rigorous classical background and infuses it with rock star charisma.  This program is presented by UNR Performing Arts in partnership with the Washoe County Library System.
