Meeting scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.

Reno, Nev. Dec. 26, 2019. Washoe County officials are in the process of establishing standards for short-term rentals (STRs) in unincorporated Washoe County, including Incline Village/Crystal Bay.

After several months of research, public engagement, and analysis, Washoe County staff has drafted a series of amendments to the Development Code intended to address anticipated impacts of STRs. The proposed changes are tentatively scheduled to be considered by the Planning Commission at their Jan. 7, 2020 meeting, which will begin at 6 p.m. The staff report is available online here. When the meeting agenda is available, it will be posted online here.

Additional information is also available at www.washoecounty.us/str.

For questions or feedback on short-term rentals, please email str@washoecounty.us.
