Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Update on COVID-19 Response Efforts

Reno, Nev. March 12, 2020. The Washoe County Health District (WCHD), Washoe County Manager’s Office and Washoe County Commission Chair Bob Lucey will host a COVID-19 press conference on Friday, March 13, at 11 a.m. at the Washoe County Commission Chambers.

The press conference will be streamed live. Follow the Washoe County Health District Twitter and Facebook pages for a link to stream the press conference just prior to 11 a.m. on Friday.

Who: Washoe County Commission Chair Bob Lucey, Washoe County Manager Eric Brown and District Health Officer Kevin Dick

What: Media briefing to discuss COVID-19 response plan moving forward in response to Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak’s Declaration of Emergency
