Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Resources for Seniors during COVID-19

Resources for Washoe County Seniors available.

Reno, Nev. April 9, 2020. The Washoe County Human Services Agency Senior Services Division is available for the elderly to contact if needing assistance or help finding a resource during the COVID-19 outbreak. Call Senior Services at 775-328-2575, Monday-Friday, from 8 p.m. - 5 p.m. The public is also welcome to head to our COVID-19 website for a complete list of resources and programs.

Seniors that must go out for groceries, gas, medications, or any other reason necessary should do the following:

  • Remain at least 6 feet from another person in public.
  • Stay away from anyone who is sick or exhibiting signs of illness.
  • Cough or sneeze in sleeve.
