Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

SPANISH VIRTUAL TOWN HALL THIS FRIDAY

Reno, Nevada (April 30, 2020) — The Regional Information Center (RIC) will host a Spanish Virtual Town Hall on Friday, May 1, 2020 at 1 p.m. The town hall, which will include English subtitles, will feature a panel of experts and regional leaders.
 
WHAT: Virtual Town Hall – fourth in a weekly series designed to bring experts and elected officials directly to the community to answer COVID-19 questions and provide updated information.
 
WHEN: Friday, May 1, 2020 at 1 p.m.

Watch live on City of Reno YouTube (online) and Univision (television).
 
GUESTS: All guests (which are subject to change) will be joining the Town Hall via Zoom. Guests include:

  • Senator Catherine Cortez Masto
  • Reno City Councilmember Oscar Delgado
  • Representatives from City of Reno, City of Sparks and Washoe County
  • Law enforcement and public safety officials
  • Health and medical professionals
  • Education industry
