Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Washoe County Registrar of Voters urges community to register to vote

Reno, Nev. May 11, 2020. The Washoe County Registrar of Voters Office would like to remind the community the deadline to register to vote through the DMV, outside agencies or by submitting your registration through mail is Tuesday, May 12, 2020. For more information and to register, please visit www.RegisterToVoteNV.gov.

Voter Registration Lookup. Additionally, beginning with this election, registered voters can see if their official mail-in ballot has been sent by clicking the link here: https://www.washoecounty.us/voters/ and using the Voter Registration Lookup tool.

Online Sample Ballot. New for the 2020 Elections, the Registrar of Voters has unveiled the ability to access your Sample Ballot online which will provide a customized ballot based on your address. Click here to access your ballot: www.washoecounty.us/voters/sampleballot/

Important Upcoming Dates

· May 21, 2020: Deadline to register to vote online and receive a mail-in ballot. If you have not registered to vote, you can do so online through May 21 and still receive a ballot in the mail, to register online, visit www.RegisterToVoteNV.gov

· May 22-June 4: Online voter registration and voter updates completed during this period will require voters to appear in-person to vote; a current and valid Nevada driver’s license or ID card and proof of residency is required.

· Friday, June 5, 2020: Individuals must appear in person to register or update their registration and cast their ballot. Must have current and valid Nevada Driver’s License or ID with proof of residency.

· Tuesday, June 9, 2020: Primary Election Day. Individuals must appear in person to register or update their registration and cast their ballot. Must have current and valid Nevada Driver’s License or ID with proof of residency.
