Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Antibody study offering free tests to selected households, residents urged to check mail for invite

Reno, Nev. May 22, 2020. The Washoe County Health District is conducting a study to determine how COVID-19 has spread in our community. As a result they are sending 1,181 invite-only letters to random households throughout Washoe County. 

 

Should you receive a letter, your entire household will receive free testing; one adult member will receive an antibody test and the other members will receive COVID-19 tests. This study has been designed by the Washoe County Health District and the University of Nevada, Reno. 

 

Residents after urged to check their mailboxes and to respond no later than Tuesday, May 26, 2020 to participate. All instructions for participation are included in the letter.
