Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Serving Washoe County pets: Free pet food and supplies

Washoe County Regional Animal Services helping residents and pets with resources

Reno, Nev.  June 3, 2020. Washoe County Regional Animal Services (WCRAS) is aiming to help relieve a little bit of stress for pet owners who have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic by providing pet owners with dog food, cat food, cat litter and other pet supplies.  

WCRAS will distribute resources in the parking lot across from WCRAS 2825 Longley Lane, Reno, NV 89502 on June 9th, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.  Dog and cat food, cat litter and other pet supplies will be available while supplies last.

WHAT:         Free pet food thanks to a grant from the Dave & Cheryl Duffield Foundation.           

WHEN:         Tuesday, June 9th, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. 

WHERE:       Parking lot across from WCRAS 2825 Longley Lane, Reno, NV 89502

WCRAS staff will be onsite to provide dog and cat food, cat litter and other pet supplies to pet owners residing in Washoe County.  This is a drive through give-away, recipients need to please stay in their vehicle.  They do not need to bring their pet but a current ID is required.  Public advised to please follow the signs.
