Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Washoe County Library System Adds New Hours for Hold Pickup

Expanded Services Effective Monday, April 5, 2021.

Washoe County Library System will expand Grab-and-Go and Walk-up/Drive-up hold pickup services with additional hours beginning on Monday, April 5, 2021. Holds can be placed from home and set for pick up at any open location; hold availability should be verified via phone or email notification prior to pick up.

Drive-up Hold Pickup services are available:

Northwest Reno Library: Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm and from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm; Saturday from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm.
South Valleys Library: Tuesday and Saturday from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm; Thursday from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
Spanish Springs Library: Tuesday 10:00 am until 2:00 pm; Wednesday 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm; Thursday from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm. 

Walk-up Hold Pickup services are available:

Downtown Reno Library: Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm.

Grab-and-Go Hold Pickup services are available:

Gerlach Community Library: Wednesday from 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm.
Incline Village Library: Monday 10:00 am until 3:00 pm; Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
North Valleys Library: Wednesday from noon until 4:00 pm.
Sierra View Library: Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm; Thursday and Saturday from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm.
Sparks Library: Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm; Thursday 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm.

Book drops are available 24/7. Masks are required at all locations and temperature checks will be performed for visitors to our Grab-and-Go locations. Washoe County Library System is committed to a safe reopening that protects our patrons, staff, and community and is looking forward to being able to offer additional services in the future.
